Search Description
This search is designed to determine the titled ownership of a currently registered privately owned automobile.
This search is optimally ordered when you need to know the registered ownership for a specified vehicle. We cannot
search temporary tags, commercial vehicles, RV's or trailers.
What to Expect
This search will return information such as year, make model, vehicle identification number, expiration date,
registered owners name and address and legal owners name and address, when available. Per state law, California
will never return address information. This search may also return facts regarding the vehicle such as base
price and country of origin. Please note: If the vehicle is registered, owned and titled by a leasing agent or
finance company, this is likely the information returned in your result. When ordering this search, client must
select a DPPA Permissible
Purpose.
Important: If the plate to be searched is a specialty plate, such as "Conserve
Energy" or "Fight Terrorism" please indicate the specialty plate type in the appropriate space.
A charged no-hit will result if this is not entered correctly.
