How Do You Find Social Security Numbers for Your 1099 Employees? Turn to the Experts!

Dealing with 1099 contractors can be way simpler than bringing on a bunch of W-2 employees, but tax season can be a different story. When you hire full-time or part-time staff, they provide their Social Security numbers right off the bat. But with 1099 workers, they might not be so keen to share their Social Security number, or they might not get it to you in time for you to handle all the tax paperwork.
